Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote out a prayer for reconciliation with my brother. We hadn't spoken in nearly a decade over an inheritance disagreement that just hardened with time. I asked you to carry my plea for a softening of hearts, for forgiveness. A few weeks after you sent the photograph, my brother called. He didn't mention the old argument. He just asked how I was. We've talked three times since then. It's cautious, but the silence is broken. The weight I carried for so long feels lighter. Thank you for your quiet work, for carrying my simple card when I had nowhere else to turn.
