Peace Through Her Final Days

Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you some months ago to ask you to carry a prayer for my mother, who was in the final stages of cancer. It was a prayer for comfort and peace for her. I received the photograph of the card in St. Peter's, and it brought me a sense of connection during a very lonely time. Since then, my mother passed away. The reason I am writing to thank you is that her final weeks were remarkably peaceful. She was free from much of the pain and anxiety that had plagued her before. I felt a calmness in our home that I hadn't expected. I don't know if it was the prayer, but I am grateful she found that rest. Thank you for your service and your team's quiet work.
