Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you in the spring asking you to carry a card for my surgery. It was for a major spinal operation I was very afraid of. I sent the prayer and received the photo of the card from your team. It felt like a small anchor in all the worry. The surgery itself went as well as could be hoped. But more than that, I had a sense of calm in the days leading up to it that was completely new to me. The recovery has been long and slow, but I am making progress. I am not in the clear yet, but I am not afraid in the same way anymore. Thank you for this quiet service.
