Peace Through Treatment After My Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Dear Fr. Marco, In April I sent a prayer card for my health, as I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and was so frightened. My sister told me about your service. I asked for strength and courage to face the treatments. The photo you sent of my prayer in St. Peter's was a comfort. It felt like a small, solid thing I could hold onto. Since then, I have started chemotherapy. The process is hard, but I have found a kind of deep peace I did not expect. I am not afraid in the same way anymore. I feel carried. I do not know what the outcome will be, but I am able to face each day. Thank you for carrying my prayer to that holy place. It was the start of this peace for me.
