Peaceful Recovery After a Difficult Surgery

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I want to thank you. Back in April, I asked you to carry a Holy Card for my husband, Frank, who was facing major heart surgery. The days leading up to it were filled with so much fear. I sent the prayer to you, and when I received the photograph from St. Peter's, I held onto it. It gave me a quiet place to rest my worry. The surgery happened last month. It was long, but the doctors said everything went as well as it could. Frank is home now. His recovery has been steady and peaceful, without the complications we were so afraid of. He is getting stronger each day. I believe our prayers were heard. Thank you for carrying them to that holy place.
