Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you some months ago about my daughter and me. We hadn't spoken in over seven years. I asked you to carry my prayer for a softening of hearts and a chance for reconciliation. The silence felt like a wall. After you sent the photograph from St. Peter's, I just held onto it and kept praying. Last Tuesday, she called. It was sudden, out of the blue. We have spoken twice since then. The conversations are careful, but they are happening. The wall has a door in it now. Thank you for your part in carrying my hope to that holy place.
