Reconciliation After So Many Years

Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you back in October asking you to carry a prayer card for my son and me. We hadn't spoken in over five years, and the silence felt like it would never end. I asked for a softening of hearts and for a path forward. I received the photo of the card in St. Peter's shortly after, and I kept it on my nightstand. Last month, my son called. Out of the blue. We talked for nearly an hour. It was hesitant at first, but it was a start. Since then, we've been writing to each other. It's slow, but it's happening. Thank you for carrying my prayer.
