Reconciliation After Ten Years of Distance

Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a prayer card for my brother through your team. We hadn't spoken in nearly ten years after a terrible argument about our father's estate. It felt like a wall had gone up between us that could never come down. I asked simply for a softening of hearts, for both of us. Last week, out of the blue, he called me. It was awkward at first, but we talked for almost an hour. We've spoken twice more since then. The anger is gone. There's a lot to rebuild, but the door is open now.
