Dear Fr. Marco,
A few months ago, I sent a prayer to your team to be carried into St. Peter's. I asked for the intercession of St. Peregrine for my husband, Robert, who was facing a major and risky surgery for a stomach tumor.
I received the photograph of the card, and it was a comfort during those anxious weeks of waiting. The surgery happened last month. It was very long, but the surgeons were able to remove everything they needed to. The recovery has been hard, but he is getting stronger every day. His latest tests show no signs that the illness has spread. We are taking it one day at a time, and I believe the prayers carried for him were a part of our strength.
