Recovering Well After Open-Heart Surgery

Dear Fr. Marco and your team,
A few months ago, I wrote to you carrying a prayer for my successful heart surgery and for peace for my family. The day after I received the photograph of the card in St. Peter's, I went in for the operation.
The surgeon said everything went as smoothly as could be hoped. The recovery in the hospital was hard, but I felt a calmness through it all. Now I am home. I am walking a little more each day and my strength is slowly returning. My wife says my color is better. We are taking things one day at a time.
Thank you for carrying my prayer to that holy place. It was a comfort to know it was there.
