Dear Fr. Marco, I wanted to write and thank you and your team for carrying my prayer card. I had been so anxious about a major surgery scheduled for my back. The pain had been constant, and I was fearful of the procedure and the recovery. I sent the prayer card to you asking for strength for myself and for the hands of the surgeons. The surgery went as well as could be hoped. The doctors were pleased with the outcome. More than that, in the days leading up to it, I felt a sense of calm I hadn't expected. I kept thinking of my prayer being there in St. Peter's, and it gave me a real peace. The recovery is a long road, but I am facing it with more hope than before. Thank you for this quiet service.
