Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you some weeks ago to carry a prayer for my grandfather, Ernest. He was facing a very serious and complicated heart surgery. The doctors were concerned about his age and his strength. I asked for your help to send up a prayer for his surgeons and for his own peace. I am writing today to tell you that his operation went as well as could be hoped. The surgeon said everything went smoothly. More than that, he has been recovering with a calm spirit that is a gift to us all. The waiting was the hardest part, but knowing that a prayer was being carried in St. Peter's was a comfort. Thank you and your team for this good work.
