Dear Fr. Marco, I recently asked your team to carry a prayer card for me, asking for strength and a successful outcome as I faced a complicated spinal surgery. I was carrying that prayer for myself, as the thought of the procedure was giving me great anxiety. Sending the prayer to you felt like releasing a heavy burden, trusting it would be held in that sacred space. I am writing to you now from my recovery room. The surgeon said the operation went as well as it could have, and the initial pain is being managed. I have a long road of physical therapy ahead, but I feel a sense of peace about it that I did not have before. My family and I are so grateful. Thank you for this gentle service.
