Dear Fr. Marco,
I wanted to write and thank you. I sent a prayer to be carried for my husband's surgery. He was facing a serious operation on his spine, and we were both anxious. The doctors were hopeful, but it was a long procedure with a difficult recovery ahead.
I received the photograph of the prayer card from your team, and it was a comfort to us both. I kept it on the kitchen table where we could see it.
His surgery went as well as the surgeons could have hoped. The recovery has been steady. He is walking with a cane now, and his pain is much less than it was before. We take it day by day. There is still a road ahead, but he is home and improving. I believe carrying our prayer to St. Peter's was a great grace for us during this hard time.
