This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and team,
I wrote to you last autumn asking you to carry my prayer for my upcoming brain surgery. I was carrying it for myself, to have strength for the procedure and for the surgeon's hands to be guided. I was very afraid, but sending my prayer to you felt like I was placing it somewhere solid.
The surgery happened in November. It went as well as it possibly could have. The surgeon was able to remove what needed to be removed. My recovery has been steady, week by week. The headaches are gone, and I am regaining my strength. I am back at home now, doing my exercises.
I wanted to thank you for carrying my prayer when I felt I had no strength left to carry it myself. It was a comfort during a very difficult time.
