Successful Surgery and Recovery After Carrying a Prayer

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and your team,
Last month, I asked you to carry my prayer for my upcoming surgery. I was facing a complicated procedure on my spine and I was very afraid. I sent my prayer to you, asking for the surgeons to have steady hands and for my body to be strong enough to heal.
You sent the photograph of my card in St. Peter's, and I kept it near my hospital bed. My surgery went as well as the doctors could have hoped. There were no complications. The recovery has been hard, but I am doing the physical therapy now and making progress every week. The pain is less than it was before. I still have a long way to go, but I feel a deep sense of peace about this path. I believe carrying my prayer to that holy place was part of finding that peace.
