Dear Fr. Marco, I sent you a prayer card for my healing before my major spinal surgery. I asked that it be carried to St. Peter's. I was so frightened and in constant pain. The morning of my surgery, I looked at the photograph of my card held up there. It gave me a sense of peace I hadn't felt in months. The surgery went perfectly, the surgeon said. My recovery has been steady. The pain is manageable now, and I am walking again. I don't know if it was the prayer or the skill of the doctors, but I felt carried. Thank you for your quiet service.
