Surgery Was a Success and Recovery is Going Well

Dear Fr. Marco,

I wanted to write to tell you what has happened. A few months ago I sent you a Holy Card with a prayer for my mother, who was facing a very difficult and risky heart surgery. I asked for the doctors to have steady hands and for her to come through it safely. I was so afraid.

You carried our prayer to St. Peter's, and I have kept the photograph you sent on my kitchen windowsill. Last week, she had the operation. The surgeon came out afterwards and said everything went exactly as they had hoped. There were no complications. She is home now, and while she is tired, she is getting stronger every day. Her color is back. She says she can breathe easier.

I don't know how to explain the peace I felt after I received your photograph. It was like a weight lifted. I truly believe our prayer was heard. Thank you for what you and your team do. It meant more than I can say.
