The Last Round of Treatment Was So Much Easier

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco,
I sent you a holy card for my husband, Jack. He was in the middle of his treatments for pancreatic cancer, and he was so very tired. I asked for him to find some strength and for a bit of peace for both of us.
After your team carried that prayer into St. Peter's, something shifted. The last round of chemotherapy was so much easier on him than the ones before. His energy was a little better, and his spirits lifted. We could even take a few short walks together. His latest scans have been stable since that time.
I don't know how to explain it, but I felt a weight had been lifted when I received the photograph. Thank you for carrying our worry all that way.
