The New Position Opened Up Exactly When I Needed It

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I sent a card last November asking for guidance and provision in my work situation. The company I'd been with for years was downsizing, and my position was ending in December. I was carrying the card for myself and for my family who depend on me. I asked you to carry the prayer for a new opportunity, one that would use my skills and allow me to provide.
After the prayer was carried in St. Peter's, I continued applying and searching. It was a difficult time. Then, in early January, a former colleague reached out. A role had just been created at her organization that fit my experience perfectly. The interview process was smooth, and I started the new position last week. The salary is even better than before.
I don't know if it was the prayer or just how things unfolded, but I am so grateful. Thank you for carrying my worry to that holy place. It gave me a moment of peace in a very anxious season. God's timing is not ours, but it is right.
