Unexpected Healing After Emergency Surgery

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and your team,
I sent a prayer for my sister. She had a sudden rupture that required emergency surgery, and the doctors were very concerned. I asked for your Holy Card to carry our prayer for her strength and for the surgeon's hands.
Her surgery happened just after the card would have been in St. Peter's. The operation went much better than anyone expected. The surgeon said it was remarkable how well she tolerated it. Her recovery in the days since has been steady, and she is already home, resting. The fear we all felt has lifted.
Thank you for carrying our prayer to that holy place. It brought us such peace to know it was there.
