Waking Up From Surgery With Peace and Healing

Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a prayer through your team for my husband's upcoming surgery. He was facing a difficult procedure to remove a mass from his lung. The doctors were concerned, and we were both so afraid. When I received the photo of the card in St. Peter's, I felt a strange, quiet comfort. I placed the picture on his nightstand. The surgery went as well as the surgeons could have hoped. The mass was removed. He woke up from the anesthesia not with fear, but with what he could only describe as a deep sense of peace.
